New Moon Release Date – US, UK, Australia

Hi Twilighters

I've had some emails asking about the release date (and venue) for New Moon Movie - Sorry no venue yet but release dates are:

Australia get to see it first - on November 19th 2009.
USA - New Moon release date is November 20th - US and Canada
UK - We have to wait a bit longer - November 27th 2009.

The Rating for New Moon is PG-13 due to some violence and action screens.

Do you think this is true? - To all you Robert Pattison / Edward Cullen fans - he apparently has said that he may quit his acting career! In an interview with Seventeen Magaine he said that he will only continue acting if his movies continue to make money. Listen up Robert - no more wise cracks!

However, the quote did say that this was if he started to get lame roles. Well, Robert I think your fan base will say - you are safe for now.

Are you ready to meet Jacob Black?

Twilight fans it is finally time for a new trailer providing more sneak preview footage and juicy scenes from the upcoming premier New Moon! As you can see I have posted the link below which shows the brand new trailer. It is so much clearer now that you can see the romance between mortal and vampire soaring to a whole other level as Bella, played by Kristen Stewart, digs a little deeper into the uncovered secrets of the supernatural universe as she desires and craves to be part of this world by becoming a vampire herself. However, she finds herself in more trouble then she may realize.

As many of you that have read the novel know, before Bella reaches 18 Edward Cullen and his family leave Forks Town in Washington as they believe this will protect her from the dangers that come with their world however this is exactly what Bella doesn’t want to happen. As Bella’s heart is broken, she feels alone and like a piece of her is missing as she walks through her high school senior year when she finds that an image of Edward flashes in her mind whenever she puts herself in harms way. Her need to be with him no matter what happens leads her to making many risky decisions.

But what about Jacob Black? Well the grizzly, hunky werewolf played by Taylor Launter is an old childhood friend of Bella so she confides and trusts in him. She then gradually fixes her broken heart as her relationship develops with Jacob, part of the mysterious Quileute tribe who unknown to Bella, is part of the dangerous supernatural world himself.

So will Jacob sweep Bella off her feet as she protects her from a former nemesis, or will she ever long to be with Edward, her first true love? I guess fellow Twilight fans, we shall wait and see!

Stephenie Meyer books

A Little more info about one of our favorite author's Stephenie Meyer books.

All you Twilight fans know that Stephenie Meyer is best known for the vampire romance novel Twilight and has since then wrote sequels to it. Altogether, over 42 million Twilight series novels have been sold all over the world and the books have been translated to 37 languages. The first two books of the Twilight series, Twilight and New Moon have been adapted into film, with the first movie’s success rivaling the novels. Meyer has received numerous accolades, including USA Today's "Author of the Year" in 2008 and an inclusion to the Forbes Magazine’s 100 most powerful celebrities, among others. Her earnings for 2008 alone have been calculated to exceed $50 million.

Aside from Twilight, Stephenie Meyer books include the other books in the series, New Moon (published in 2006), Eclipse (published in 2007), and Breaking Dawn (published in 2008). She also authored a story in the collection Prom Nights from Hell. In May 2008, a sci-fi novel The Host, was released, written by Meyer. The Host lasted for 26 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list and debuting at number 1.
