First Paramore, then Linkin Park, then Hannah Pestle but have you heard of the Mitch Hansen Band? The long time of waiting will soon be over for fans when the premier of New Moon graces the presence of our screens in November. However what many fans are also anticipating is the soundtrack. As we all know, the music contributes to Stephanie Meyer’s vivid ‘Twilight’ universe and clings to the hearts of many fans with meaningful lyrics and catchy tunes.
Well this year its time to embrace the all new band the Mitch Hansen Band who is bringing out a new song called ‘by you’ and it was reported by the popular TV channel MTV News that the singers latest song and music video is premiering soon and hoping to make its way onto the brand New Moons soundtrack.
The song takes on an interesting slant that will fascinate the listeners with its spell binding lyrics as it takes on Bella’s perspective and is a indie song which has an edgy rock slant to it. It deals with certain issues that Bella finds hard as she goes through the course of The New Moon, such as Edward leaving her in the woods. So this song many fans eagerly await the release of as I am sure you cannot wait to hear this emotional song that is truly written from the core of Bella’s heart.
Who knows, maybe Summit will take on board what twilight lovers want and finally put an end to bands such as the Bella Cullen Project and the Twilight Music Girls and make some room for a singer who has incorporated the tale about Edward and Bella’s journey in the New Moon into their new song.
So as we anticipate what will happen, day by day the release date draws nearer as we keep on the edge of our seats for the second installment in the saga and I speak in behalf of many of the twilight music fans out there, we hope to hear a wider range of music in the coming of the New Moon!
Twilight fans it is finally time for a new trailer providing more sneak preview footage and juicy scenes from the upcoming premier New Moon! As you can see I have posted the link below which shows the brand new trailer. It is so much clearer now that you can see the romance between mortal and vampire soaring to a whole other level as Bella, played by Kristen Stewart, digs a little deeper into the uncovered secrets of the supernatural universe as she desires and craves to be part of this world by becoming a vampire herself. However, she finds herself in more trouble then she may realize.
As many of you that have read the novel know, before Bella reaches 18 Edward Cullen and his family leave Forks Town in Washington as they believe this will protect her from the dangers that come with their world however this is exactly what Bella doesn’t want to happen. As Bella’s heart is broken, she feels alone and like a piece of her is missing as she walks through her high school senior year when she finds that an image of Edward flashes in her mind whenever she puts herself in harms way. Her need to be with him no matter what happens leads her to making many risky decisions.
But what about Jacob Black? Well the grizzly, hunky werewolf played by Taylor Launter is an old childhood friend of Bella so she confides and trusts in him. She then gradually fixes her broken heart as her relationship develops with Jacob, part of the mysterious Quileute tribe who unknown to Bella, is part of the dangerous supernatural world himself.
So will Jacob sweep Bella off her feet as she protects her from a former nemesis, or will she ever long to be with Edward, her first true love? I guess fellow Twilight fans, we shall wait and see!
Recently saw this updated New Moon Trailer, it's more exciting than the old one and features Jacob more as he has a large part to play in New Moon. Enjoy!
Many of us having been closely following the latest New Moon news instalments, holding our breath for new sneak previews and accidently released untold secrets to satisfy our need for the next part of this breath taking saga.
So have you heard this I wonder?
Recently, the main trio Kirsten Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Launter were guests at the Comic-Con located in San Diego where they made appearances on the glamorous red carpet and a press conference as well. At first when Rob and Kristen were being interviewed about the roles they played and some scenes that jumped out, they were apparently very awkward when talking to each other, not really opening up at all.
Later however onlookers said that the pair loosened up and when asked about their chemistry together, Kristen smiled sweetly and Robert blushed! This means there may be more going on behind closed doors than we think…
So as they became more relaxed and happier on set, Kristen was reported to be more flirtatious and “was very playful” towards the two heart throbs who suddenly looked at each other.
Recently, there has been a lot of hype in the newspapers over how Robert ‘really wants her’ and so their actions on the set of the interview may have just confirmed this.
However, the strange thing is that when an interviewer asked Rob what his favorite scene was in the movie, to everyone’s surprise he chose the break up scene where Edward breaks the news to Bella and they both go their separate ways. This heart breaking part of the film and of the trailer will definitely leave all of the spectators in tears but Robert feels that “Hopefully it will come off as having quite a few more levels than the relationship in Twilight.
So with all of this mayhem and hype between the stars as the release date draws ever closer to us, the new moon will haunt us and the breaking dawn will not uncover the real truth and feelings that are going on behind the stars visage, for all we know this could be an act! But one thing is for sure, The New Moon has been built up to surpass the first in the series Twilight and so will offer its audience all that it wants to see… and more.
The Twilight movie soundtrack is made up of two components – the musical score and the pop and rock songs inspired by and commissioned for the movie. The composer of the Twilight musical score was Carter Burwell, whose other works include Coen Brother classics “O Brother, Where are Thou?” and Fargo, as well as other films including Conspiracy Theory and Hamlet. Alexandra Patsavas was the music supervisor responsible for choosing the tracks for the album. Additional input was given by Twilight book author Stephenie Meyer, which pushed for the inclusion of songs by artists like Linkin Park and Muse which she listened to while in the process of writing the books.
The release of the Twilight movie soundtrack happened on November 4, 2008. Chop Shop Records, in cooperation with Atlantic Records produced the album. The soundtrack shot up to the number 1 position in the Billboard 200 album chart on its first week, the November 22 chart week. Six months after its release, the Recording Industry Association of America has certified the album to double platinum status, or selling more than 2 million copies. The album has 12 tracks, while the score has 21. Other artists involved in the soundtrack are the lead male star himself, Robert Pattinson, and the band Paramore, who performed the carrier single.
